2025 proceeds go toward preserving the historic elements in Virginia Field Park, a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark that is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Calvert Historic Foundation has approved a multi-year restoration and beautification project to begin on Virginia Field Park at the conclusion of this years event.
